New Penn Honors 13 Drivers for Reaching Million Miler Status


New Penn recently honored 12 of its professional drivers for achieving the elite status of driving 1 million miles without a preventable accident.

“We are honored to recognize these drivers for their outstanding achievement and commitment to safety,” said Steven Gast, President of New Penn. “We are proud to have them represent our company as they continue to demonstrate such high levels of professionalism.”

Driving one million miles without a preventable accident is a significant safety accomplishment. It is more than two round-trips to the moon (478,000 miles each) and is the equivalent of driving 180 round-trips between Los Angeles and New York City.

The New Penn drivers being honored include:

Gary L. Wenger, Reading, Pa.

New Penn also honored one driver, Thomas Gallagher, Scranton, Pa., for his phenomenal achievement of driving 2 million miles without a preventable accident.
